The Corangamarah Art Prize (CAP) is open to all Australian artists over the age

First Prize      $5,000 Acquisitive Prize
Selection
Submissions will go through a pre-selection process and will be judged on artistic and interpretive merit. Only successful artists will be advised of their selection for the final exhibition by Friday, 15 June 2012. The list of successful artists will be posted on the website at www.corangamarahartprize.com.au  
Exhibition Dates  and Opening     
Saturday, 7 July 2012 - Opening night and announcement of the prize winners, Saturday, 8-21 July 2012 - Exhibition dates.
Number and Size of Entries             
Each artist may submit up to three works of MAXIMUM size 100 x 200 x 10 cm
(inclusive of frame).
Submissions  
An image of each artwork may be submitted for pre-selection judging in the following formats: A4 colour photograph or printout; or an electronic jpeg file on a memory stick or disc.  An artist's statement of up to fifty words identifying the event of the past 12 months and describing the con.ceit' is required as support material.
ALL documentation submitted MUST be clearly labeled with artist’s name, work title, year, medium, size and orientation and sale price. A curriculum vitae of maximum 2 x A4 pages is optional.

Delivery 
Finalists may utilise bulk cartage for artworks as per advice in Exhibition Information, released prior to the exhibition. Alternatively, delivery and pick up of artworks can be made in person - to be arranged with coordinators prior to exhibition.
Artworks must be collected from Otway Estate Winery and Brewery
Colac-Lavers Hill Rd, Barongarook (www.otwayestate.com.au) between Wednesday 1 and Sunday 5 August 2012, between the hours of 10am and 5pm EST only.
