The Corangamarah Art Prize (CAP) is open to all Australian artists over the age of 18. For Conditions of Entry, please refer to the entry form.
First Prize $5,000 Acquisitive Prize
Selection Submissions will go through a pre-selection process and will be judged on artistic and interpretive merit. Successful artists will be advised of their selection for the exhibition by Friday 16th July 2010. The list of successful artists will be posted on the website.
Exhibition Dates Sunday 8th to Sunday 15th August 2010. Opening night & announcement of the prize winner, Saturday 7th August.
Entries Each artist may submit up to 3 works of MAXIMUM size 100 x 200 x 10 cm (inclusive of frame).
Submissions A facsimile of each artwork may be submitted for pre-selection judging as an A4 colour photograph or printout, or as an electronic jpeg file. A paragraph of 50 words identifying the event of the past 12 months and describing the conceit is required as support material.
ALL documentation submitted MUST be clearly labeled with artist’s name, work title, year, medium, size and orientation. A curriculum vitae of maximum 2 x A4 pages is optional.
Entry forms & payment MUST be received by CAP no later than 5pm EST, 4th June 2010.
Delivery of Artwork Finalists may utilise bulk cartage for artworks as per advice in Exhibition Information, released prior to the exhibition. Alternatively, delivery and pick up of artworks can be made in person.
Artworks must be collected from Otway Estate Winery & Brewery, 10-30 Hoveys Rd, Barongarook between Monday 16th and Sunday 22nd August 2010 (10am - 5pm only).
The Corangamarah Art Prize is held under the auspices of Colac Area Health and thus operates under the provisions of Colac Area Health.
