Welcome to the Corangamarah Art Prize website
The acquisitive Corangamarah Art Prize has become a mainstay in the
calendar of Australian artists. Held each year this year it is to be held on
the 7 July, with the exhibition dates from 8-21 July. The Prize is awarded to a
two dimensional artwork in any medium, which has been inspired by a happening
or experience from the year preceding – a conceit.

a collecting, taking, from concipere,to take, lay hold of,
perceive.]
1 (a) a concept; that which is conceived, imagined, or formed in
the mind; idea; thought; image (b) personal opinion. [Rare]

as, a man of quick conceit. [Obs.]

The Corangamarah Art Prize is held under the auspices of Colac Area
Health and thus operates under the provisions of Colac Area Health
Unfortunately, the Corangamarah Art Prize will not be held this year, but will be back in 2014.
